  Widespread Major Flooding of Machias area near the water. Up to 2 feet of water over Route 1 at the causeway. Significant inundation of water into structures between Short Street and the Route 1 Causeway in Machias. Moderate flooding of low lying areas upstream along the Machias River in the Middle River Reservoir.

  Moderate Flooding. Properties along the Machias River will become surrounded. Route 1 will begin flooding at the causeway. Backwater issues will cause flooding in low lying areas along Route 1 between Short Street to the Causeway and along Court Street.

• 17 ft

  Minor Flooding. Water begins to flood business parking lot near Route 1 causeway.
