Significant flooding is occurring in Westernport, Midland, and Lonaconing, with roads, buildings, and bridges flooded. Water reaches the bridge on Church Street in downtown Westernport, and is approaching several areas along the railroad tracks which parallel the creek just above the city.
Numerous buildings and roads in the town of Westernport, and points upstream, are flooded. Water reaches both railroad bridges upstream of Westernport, as well as multiple bridges in Westernport.
Floodwaters are moving through the city of Westernport, and approaching Westernport Elementary School. Water is also covering Brodie Road between Midland and Lonaconing.
Water is flowing over the railroad bridge at downtown Westernport, and reaches the underside of the second railroad bridge which parallels Maryland Route 36. Portions of the city of Westernport are also flooded.
Water begins to overflow out of Georges Creek into low-lying areas of the city of Westernport.
