  Water nears the top of the federal levee.

• 32.5 ft

  Floodwaters are high enough to begin to completely overtop the Omaha Wastewater Treatment Facility road and inundate and impact critical infrastructure along the river.

• 31 ft

  Floodwaters begin to move into areas adjacent to the Omaha Wastewater Treatment Facility road south of the federal levee. In addition public levee access is ended.

• 27.5 ft

  Extensive flood gate closures are occurring on both sides of the river, in addition significant flooding is ongoing on the river side of the levee.

• 23 ft

  Land activities on the Iowa side between the levee and the river need to cease as lowland flooding begins.

• 21.5 ft

  Flood gate closures continue on the Iowa side.

• 19.5 ft

  At this level, the City of Council Bluffs begins to close drainage gates that discharge into the river.
