Flood of record. September 2011. Over 90 percent of Owego was inundated by deep flood waters.

Flooding inundates Route 17C and spreads over to the east side of Owego along E. Front Street and E. Main Street. The west side of Owego is inundated past Paige and Franklin Streets.

Water begins creeping into the backyards of properties along Rt. 17C and 5th Avenue. Owego Creek begins backing up and spreading toward the Fairgrounds.
