Widespread and significant flooding throughout Swansboro and the western portions of Carteret County, including Emerald Isle, and areas from Cedar Point to Broad Creek, with homes and businesses flooded.Portions of Highway 24 between Swansboro and Cedar Point may be impassable. Many seconary roads (in numerous sound side communities) adjacent to the sound and river will be impassable with several feet of inundation. Including western Emerald Isle, west of Gulf Stream Drive.

Many secondary roads adjacent to the sound and river will be inundated with water and may be impassable, including Channel Drive and portions of Coast Guard Road in Emerald Isle.
