  Major Flood Stage. Extremely rare and catastrophic flooding of Coddle Creek is developing with disastrous impacts to property. Campgrounds may be experiencing devastating flooding greater than 4 ft deep, causing severe damage. Basements and crawl spaces may be completely submerged. First-floor building elevations may be experiencing ruinous flooding greater than 1 ft deep. Travel may be severely restricted with roadway inundation exceeding 3-4 ft, stranding several homes and businesses.

• 20.01 ft

  ...impacts continued from the 20.0 foot statement...Significant flooding reaching 4-6 ft deep is ongoing for low-lying areas and low-water crossings. Campgrounds may be experiencing dangerous inundation up to 2-4 ft deep, capable of moving RVs and other vehicles. Flooding less than 1 ft deep may begin for first-floor building elevations. Some homes and businesses may be stranded. Significant impacts to travel are likely.

• 20 ft

  Moderate Flood Stage. Unusual, damaging flooding is developing adjacent to Coddle Creek with considerable impacts to property. Floodwaters may begin impacting homes near the headwaters of Emerson Lake off of Castle Rd, Yesteryear Trl, Gentry Ln, Saxon Ct, Winchester Dr, and Lynchburg Dr. Impacts continued in the 20.01 statement...

• 18.01 ft

  ...impacts continued from the 18.0 foot statement...More significant floodwaters are beginning to impact low-lying areas, with inundation approximately 2-4 ft deep. Low-water crossings may be inundated with up to 2-3 ft of floodwaters. Campgrounds, secondary roads, and outbuildings may be experiencing flooding up to 1-2 ft deep. Flooding less than 1 ft deep may begin impacting basements and primary roads.

• 18 ft

  Minor Flood Stage. Common, deeper flooding of low-lying areas adjacent to Coddle Creek is developing with lesser impacts to vulnerable property. The approaches to the Archer Bridge Rd bridge may begin to flood. Impacts continued in the 18.01 statement...

• 13.5 ft

  Action/Advisory Stage flooding continues. Coddle Creek floodwaters extend approximately 75-100 feet from both the left and right banks up- and downstream of Archer Bridge Rd, flooding adjacent farmland and woodlands. Floodwaters are a minimum of 4 feet below the Archer Bridge Rd bridge.

• 12.5 ft

  Action/Advisory Stage. Common, nuisance flooding of low-lying areas adjacent to Coddle Creek is beginning. Floodwaters are beginning to impact farmland, woodlands, nurseries, parks, athletic fields, golf courses, greenways, and boat-access areas with up to 2 feet of inundation. Low-water crossings may be inundated with up to 2 feet of floodwater and become impassable. Campgrounds and secondary roads may experience floodwater inundation of up to 1 foot.
