Widespread significant flooding of the area is expected as floodwaters inundate numerous residences. Most surface level roadways in the areas are impassable making travel extremely difficult.
Portions of Fleming School Road and Staton House Road are likely impassable due to floodwaters. Water crosses onto NC 33 near the gauge site as well as to the east. Numerous homes in the area are surrounded by water, with a few likely inundated by floodwaters.
