Widespread and significant flooding throughout southern Nags Head with homes and businesses flooded. Many primary and secondary roads adjacent to the sound will be impassable with several feet of inundation. This includes portions of the Causeway and NC-12.
Numerous homes and businesses will see flooding throughout soundside Nags Head adjacent to the Roanoke Sound. Portions of the Causeway will be inundated and impassable. Many secondary roads adjacent to the sound will be inundated with water and may be impassable, including South Oregon Inlet Road and S Colony Drive South in South Nags Head, as well as portions of NC-12 from Nags Head to Oregon Inlet. Minor flooding at the Bodie Island Lighthouse Visitor Center.
Minor flooding in Pond Island and low lying areas along the Causeway. Minor flooding in soundside Nags Head flooding docks and yards adjacent to the Roanoke Sound.
Very low lying areas in soundside Nags Head adjacent to the Roanoke Sound will see minor flooding.
