BRIDGE AND TRIBAL HATCHERY WILL FLOOD. FLOOD STAGE SET TO GAGE SITE ... FLOODING FURTHER DOWNSTREAM WILL BE OCCURING.
AT THIS LEVEL THE OCONALUFTEE RIVER DOWNSTREAM IN CHEROKEE NC WILL BE FLOODING THE OCONALUFTEE ISLAND PARK. THE LAST TIME THIS HAPPENED BOTH THE CTFN7 GAGE AND SFKN7 GAGE WERE AT 5 FT. ALSO BIRN7 BIRDTOWN GAGE WAS AT 8.8 FT.
3 INCH RAIN CAUSED THE RIVER TO RIASE TO 3.9 FT NO FLOODING AT GAGE SITE BUT DOWNSTREAM ON OCONELOFTEE THERE WAS MINOR FLOODING.
