Widespread and severe flooding throughout Vanceboro and the surrounding area, with numerous businesses and homes inundated. Most area roadways, including NC-43, will be impassable due to flooding making travel nearly impossible.
Several residences and businesses will see flooding throughout Vanceboro. Streets Ferry Road is significantly inundated just south of the gauge site. Portions of Piney Neck Road and several other secondary roads are flooded and may be impassable.
Water inundates properties and may surround some homes on the north end of Streets Ferry Road. Water may also cover Streets Ferry Road just south of the creek. Other minor flooding occurs in and around Vanceboro near the creek and adjacent tributaries.
Very low lying areas along Streets Ferry Road in Vanceboro will see minor flooding.
