Homes may be impacted near the confluence of the East and West Forks of the Tuckasegee River and evacuations may be required. The NWS will coordinate with Jackson County Emergency Management and a Flash Flood Warning may be issued for localized areas immediately downstream of the dam and above Cullowhee, especially during overnight hours.
