Major Flood Stage. Homes adjacent to Wilson's Creek upstream and downstream of streamgauge may be beginning to flood. Residential flooding is likely near the intersection of Laurel Ln. and Edgemont Rd. Residents will likely already be evacuated at this level in this area.
Moderate Flooding continues. Old Johns River Rd is likely flooded. Campgrounds along the river may be experiencing significant flooding. Edgemont Baptist Church Rd. is likely flooding.
Moderate Flooding continues. Wilson Creek Rd. is flooding at this level.
Moderate Flood Stage. Campers along Wilson's Creek, including at Killians Campground off of Brown Mountain Beach Rd., are possibly becoming stranded and bridges throughout gorge may be flooding.
Minor Flooding continues. The bridges at Brown Mountain Beach Rd. and Edgemont Rd. are beginning to be inundated by Wilson Creek floodwaters.
Minor Flooding continues. Wilson's Creek is currently about 12-18 inches from the bottom of the bridges at Brown Mountain Beach Rd. and Edgemont Rd.
Minor Flood Stage. Brown Mountain Beach Rd and Brown Mountain Beach vicinity are beginning to flood. Caldwell County is sounding the warning sirens for rapid flow. All recreational activities along Wilson's Creek must be ended now.
Action Stage. Wilson's Creek will be reaching bankfull in isolated locations. During periods of heavy rain, flooding may be imminent as the creek rises rapidly. People in the vicinity ot Edgemont need to seek higher ground immediately.
