Major flooding to urban and agricultural areas with widespread damage to public facilities and private property. The downtown business district inundated. Second and Front Street homes and businesses flooded with a couple of feet of water mainly on the west side of town.

FEMA 0.2 percent flood level. The dike protecting Grand Rapids is overtopped and several businesses inundated. Water threatens the railroad bridge upstream where it crosses Wapakoneta Road.
