• 80 ft

  This flood will exceed the highest stage on record. Widespread property damage occurs, with devastating backwater flooding also occurring along Ohio River tributaries. The City of Cincinnati becomes flooded at low areas near the river, with many Ohio River communities flooded. Backwater flooding along the Little Miami, Great Miami and Licking Rivers also results in major damage. Thousands of evacuations are necessary.

  Major flooding occurs along the river in Hamilton and Clermont Counties in Ohio, as well as Boone, Kenton and Campbell Counties in Kentucky. Hundreds of homes and businesses are flooded. Significant backwater flooding also occurs along the Little Miami, Great Miami and Licking Rivers.

• 72 ft

  Major flooding continues within the flood plain along the Ohio River, especially in portions of California, New Richmond, and the East End of Cincinnati in Ohio, Ludlow and Bromley in Kentucky, and Lawrenceburg and Aurora in Indiana. Hundreds of homes and businesses are flooded as are many low-lying roads near the river. Street flooding worsens along the river in Cincinnati, with the flood waters reaching Third and Culvert Streets. Route 52 is flooded in many low areas.

  Major flooding continues within the flood plain, especially in portions of California and the East End. Street flooding occurs along Pete Rose and Mehring Way, as well as Eastern Avenue and River Road. Ludlow and Bromley, Kentucky incur major flooding, as well as Lawrenceburg and Aurora, Indiana. From Cincinnati to New Richmond, many areas along Route 52 are flooded. Backwater flooding affects low areas along the Little Miami, Licking and Great Miami Rivers.

  This is just above the FEMA 1 percent flood. Widespread flooding between Fort Washington Way and the river occurs. Inundation of unprotected property in Ohio extends from Cincinnati upstream along and south of Route 52. Downstream of Cincinnati, most property between Route 50 and the river is flooded. In Kentucky, widespread inundation occurs in unprotected areas between Route 8 and the river. In Indiana, unprotected areas from near Route 56 to the river are inundated including Aurora.

  Hundreds of homes and businesses in the Tri-State are flooded. Major flooding spreads through areas with no flood protection, with California, the East End, Aurora, and areas of Rising Sun between Poplar Street and the river having the most severe inundation.

  Many riverfront streets are flooded, such as Pete Rose Way and Delta and Congress Avenues. The East End and California experience major flooding with numerous homes and businesses severely flooded. Major flooding occurs in many areas near Route 52 from the East End through much of southern Ohio Township in Clermont County. Major flooding occurs in Aurora, Indiana, as well as Ludlow and Bromley, Kentucky. Indiana Route 56 is inundated in many locations with Route 50 also flooded near the river.

  Major flooding continues in portions of the East End and in California with numerous homes near the river flooded. Areas along Route 52 through Ohio Township in Clermont County are also flooded. In addition to flooding along and near Route 52 in Ohio, Route 56 in Indiana and Kentucky Route 8 are flooded. Much of the Village of New Richmond experiences major flooding. Portions of Ludlow and Bromley, Kentucky and Aurora, Indiana also experience flooding of riverside homes and businesses.

  Major flooding occurs in portions of the East End and California, as well as areas along Route 52 through Ohio Township in Clermont County. Much of the Village of New Richmond experiences major flooding. Portions of Ludlow and Bromley, Kentucky and Aurora, Indiana experience moderate flooding. Numerous homes and businesses are flooded along the river. The Fort Washington Way Transportation Center is also impacted.

  Flooding worsens in the East End, as well as along the riverfront. Pete Rose Way is flooded and Kellogg Road flooding worsens. Homes and businesses in the East End and California are significantly flooded. Much of Route 52 continues to flood between Cincinnati and New Richmond. Backwater flooding up the Little Miami River affects Anderson Township up to Newtown. Low-lying roads in Newport, Ludlow and Bromley, Kentucky flood, as well as portions of Lawrenceburg and Aurora, Indiana.

  Significant flooding in East End, California and New Richmond in Ohio, with backwater floods in Silver Grove, KY, and riverfront buildings in Aurora Indiana. Stretches of U.S. 52 are flooded, with numerous additional low lying roads near the river flooded. Backwater flooding along the Little Miami, Great Miami and Licking Rivers, also result in road closures. Some main level of homes flooded in the East End sections of Cincinnati.

  Some of Route 52 is flooded from Cincinnati to New Richmond. Some homes incur flooding in California, Ohio, with several roads, Coney Island, and PNC Pavilion flooded. Backwater flooding in Anderson Township, and Fourmile creek in Silver Grove, flooding some homes along the creek. Low roads in the East End are also flooded. Portions of Route 8 in northern Kentucky become flooded, as well as portions of Aurora, Indiana. Basement flooding of low lying homes and businesses is widespread.

  Numerous homes and businesses are either surrounded by water, water in basements or on main levels. Backwater flooding along the Little Miami in Ohio and Fourmile Creek in Kentucky floods low lying streets and properties. East End, California and New Richmond in Ohio, along with Bromley, Ludlow, Silver Grove in Kentucky and Aurora Indiana are most impacted. Homes in New Richmond from Market Street to the river flood. Freeman Avenue near Mehring Way floods, as well as Gest and Elm on Pete Rose Way.

  Flooding surrounds homes between Route 52 and the river in East End, California and areas of Anderson Township. Backwater flooding along the Little Miami and 9 Mile Creek surrounds low lying homes and businesses in Pierce Township. Water also surrounds some on homes in New Richmond. Ludlow and Bromley in Kentucky become flooded in low areas, as well as Aurora Indiana along Judiciary and Water Streets. Portions of Route 52 in Ohio, Route 56 in Indiana, and Route 8 in Kentucky are flooded.

  Significant flooding of California occurs. Backwater flooding along the Little Miami River affects basements and some first level flooding of businesses and homes, with low-lying areas from California to Newtown also experiencing this flooding. The East End experiences flooding of some streets, basements of homes and businesses, as well as low-lying areas near New Richmond in Clermont County. State Route 8 in Kentucky is flooded in low areas, as well as State Route 56 in Indiana and Route 52 in Ohio.

  A few homes along Debolt Road in Anderson Township are cut off, with a dozen homes incurring basement flooding. In addition to significant flooding of Coney Island and Riverbend, A few businesses flood along Kellogg Avenue. Widespread backwater flooding occurs, with Route 8 in Kentucky, Route 56 in Indiana and both Route 52 and old Route 52 flooded in areas. Locations most affected include low-lying areas near New Richmond, the East End, California and Anderson and Pierce Townships.

  Low-lying roads near the river flood in Anderson Township and East End near Kellogg Avenue, with stretches of Kellogg Avenue flooded. Basement flooding in East End occurs. Flooding occurs along sections of Route 52 in Hamilton and Clermont Counties. Low-lying roads in Bromley and Ludlow also flood, as well as stretches of Route 8 in Kentucky, and State Route 56 near Aurora, Indiana.

  Low-lying roads near the river continue to flood, with much of Anderson Township, the East End and California affected along Kellogg Avenue, with stretches of Kellogg Avenue closed. Much of Riverfront Live in East End is flooded. Backwater flooding affects many locations near the Ohio River. Flooding affects sections of Route 52 in southeast Hamilton and Clermont Counties. Backwater up Twelvemile Creek begins to flood low areas of northwest New Richmond. Low-lying roads in Bromley and Ludlow also flood.

  Backwater flooding up the lower Little Miami River as far upstream as Newtown occurs, with flooding worsening in California and in Anderson Township. Low-lying areas near New Richmond in Clermont County also flood. Flooding also worsens in the East End. Flooding near Petersburg, Kentucky along Belleview Road near the Woolper Creek Bridge occurs, as well as near State Route 56 and Water Street near Aurora, Indiana. Sawyer Point Amphitheater area is flooded, along with Riverside Drive in Covington.

  The access road at Covington Landing becomes flooded. Flooding begins on Riverside Drive in Covington. Flooding in California worsens as well as in Anderson Township. New Richmond in Clermont County also experiences flooding, as well as worsening flooding in the East End. Backwater flooding up Laughery Creek between Dearborn and Ohio Counties in Indiana causes flooding along Nelson Road and Cole Lane. Lower levels of Smale Park and Bellevue Beach Park are flooded.

  Increasing sections of Kellogg Avenue from east of Delta Avenue upstream to near Coney Island to near Eight Mile Road are flooded, as well as parts of Humbert Avenue in the East End of Cincinnati. Most of Public Landing is flooded, as well as Riverside Park off River Road.

  Water begins to cover more areas of Kellogg Avenue from east of Delta Avenue upstream to near Coney Island to near Eight Mile Road. Parts of Humbert Avenue in the East End of Cincinnati also begin to flood. Most of Public Landing becomes flooded, as well as Riverside Park off River Road.

  Water covers low areas of Kellogg Avenue from east of Delta Avenue upstream to near Coney Island and Belterra Park, with outbuildings at Coney Island flooded, as well as Riverbend Music Center. Parts of Humbert Avenue in the East End of Cincinnati are also flooded. Some of Public Landing becomes flooded, as well as Riverside Park off River Road.

  Flooding in California, Ohio impacts Eldorado Street, with water impacting some fringe areas of Coney Island park. Riverbend Music Center is flooded by this stage.
