Major flood stage. Significant flooding along the Cheyenne River upstream from Angostura Reservoir. Water will backup along the Highway 71 road embankment, although no impacts to Highway 71 are expected. Major flooding of agricultural land.
Moderate flood stage. Widespread flooding of agricultural land along the Cheyenne River upstream of Angostura Reservoir. The park and parking area near the Highway 71 bridge will be flooded and unusable. Water may begin to backup behind the road embankment in places.
Minor flood stage. Minor flooding of agricultural land along the Cheyenne River upstream of Angostura Reservoir.
Action stage. Low lying areas of the Cheyenne River upstream of Angostura may flood.
