Major lowland flooding occurs. Water closes the northbound lane of Highway 59. The lowest homes in the flood plain flood, some up to nine feet. Livestock are cut off and potentially drowned below Highway 59. Levees near the San Antonio River confluence are threatened, as flow is several miles wide above and below Highway 35. Several tens of homes near Tivoli flood and are cut off, and a fishing camp just below Highway 35 floods.
