(6.7 meters), Major flooding is above telephone lines is some areas of the flood plain. Disastrous flooding is extremely dangerous to campers and livestock well into the flood plain. Roads, fences, and the flood plain are scoured extensively.

(6.1 meters), Very deep flow covers telephone lines in some areas. Campers, autos, and gear well away from the river above Juno to Amistad Reservoir are easily swept downstream. Livestock are cut off and potentially drowned. There is widespread damage to fences and road surfaces near the river.

(5.8 meters), Massive flooding destroys anything in the flood plain near the Devils River and its tributaries.

(5.2 meters), Major flooding can wash livestock, autos, camp equipment and campers away well into the flood plain and tributaries of the Devils River above Glasscock Ranch to Amistad Reservoir. Roads and bridges are severely flooded and extremely dangerous. Many areas are cut off for hours.
