MUCH OF THE AREA ACROSS SOUTHERN ORANGE COUNTY AND MUCH OF SOUTHERN JEFFERSON COUNTY OUTSIDE OF THE HURRICANE PROTECTION LEVEE ARE FLOODED. MUCH OF HIGHWAY 73 BETWEEN PORT ARTHUR AND WINNIE IS IMPASSABLE. FLOODING OCCURS WELL INLAND ALONG TAYLOR AND HILLEBRANDT BAYOUS.
