What Floods at Each Level

FM 665 bridge is flooded, with water 1 foot deep. Homes near the creek along FM 763 are flooded with several feet of water. There is 4 feet of water over FM 763 cutting off the shooting range and homes. The creek is several feet deep over Highway 286 frontage roads, and is 1/2 mile wide as it appoaches and covers the bridge on FM 43. Oso Parkway is flooded in several places between Everhart and Staples and approaches homes. The west side of Staples Street bridge is 3 feet deep. The golf course is flooded.

Major lowland flooding occurs. Numerous barns and structures flood near Farm to Market 763. There is nearly two feet of water over Farm to Market 763. County Road 43 is flooded. The Lakes Subdivision on the south side of Corpus Christi will have water over Oso Parkway and into their front yards.

The lowest residences in flood prone areas above Farm to Market 763, to below the bridge at Farm to Market 763 have water at the slab elevation and are cut off. The Farm to Market 763 bridge at Oso Creek and numerous barns and outbuildings flood above Farm to Market 763 to Oso Bay.

Major flooding reaches the approaches to the Farm to Market 763 bridge. Numerous outbuildings and barns are surrounded, and flow approaches apartment buildings below Farm to Market 763. Kings Crossing Golf Course is at least 1/2 flooded. Water is within 3 feet of some homes. Water flows across Oso Parkway Road at 2 low areas in the extreme south portion of the Lakes Subdivision.

Moderate lowland flooding occurs, from the headwaters near Violet Road, or Farm to Market 24, to Oso Bay. Secondary roads and low bridges near the creek are also flooded.

Overbank conditions occur upstream in the right flood plain.
