WIDESPREAD MAJOR FLOODING CAN BE EXPECTED. THIS IS NEAR THE LEVEL REACHED DURING THE STORM SURGE OF HURRICANE IKE IN 2008. CATASTROPHIC FLOODING OCCURS THROUGHOUT BRIDGE CITY. FLOODING ALSO OCCURS NEAR THE NECHES RIVER THAT ARE NOT PROTECTED BY THE HURRICANE PROTECTION LEVEE.
