Flood of Record occurred on August 12, 2016. At this level, extensive flooding will develop. Several roads, including LA 10, will be inundated.
The river will be at the underside of the Louisiana Highway 10 bridge threatening the the structure with debris in swift current. Flooding of farmland and woodlands will extend about two miles either side of the main channel. Sand and gravel operations will be inundated. Industrial equipment should be moved to higher ground.
