Widespread and significant flooding throughout Southern Shores and the northern portions of Kitty Hawk. Many primary and secondary roads adjacent to the sound and creek will be impassable with several feet of inundation. Portions of North Croatan Highway in Kitty Hawk will be inundated and impassable.
Numerous residences and businesses will see flooding throughout Southern Shores and the northern portions of Kitty Hawk. Many secondary roads adjacent to the sound and creek will be inundated with water and may be impassable, including portions of South Dogwood Trail and Duck Woods Drive. Flooding in the community of Martin's Point, inundating portions of Martin's Point Road and Creek Road.
Minor flooding in Southern Shores, flooding docks and yards along the Currituck Sound, the Jean Guite Creek and other adjacent tidal creeks.
