Significant impacts expected in locations along the sound side from Duck to Rodanthe, including Salvo. Many elevated homes will likely become flooded. Portions of Hwy 12 will become impassable between Duck to Kitty Hawk.

Several roads adjacent to the sound will become impassable in Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills, and Nags Head including the causeway in Nags Head. Widespread flooding will occur in Colington Harbor. Locations in Wanchese will begin to experience moderate inundation, 2 to 3 ft, especially near and along Mill Landing Creek Rd.

The docks at the Oregon Inlet Marina and adjacent low lying areas will become flooded, while the parking lot at Oregon Inlet Marina will begin to flood. Minor inundation throughout Wanchese, some roads may be impassable. Minor inundation along US 64 in Manteo, and Highway 12 from South Nags Head down to Oregon Inlet.

Homes along Mill Landing Rd. and Thicket Lump Dr. in Wanchese will begin to see minor inundation of up to 1 foot. Several businesses along Queen Elizabeth Ave in Manteo will flood with inundation up to 1 foot.
