Significant inundation along Cedar Island Road between Atlantic and the Cedar Island Ferry Terminal. Homes along Cedar Island Road expected to see major impacts, with some areas seeing up to 4 feet of inundation. The parking lot at the ferry terminal would be completely underwater with water approaching the ferry terminal building.
Cedar Island Ferry Terminal parking lot will begin to flood with 1 to 2 feet of inundation in some spots. Most of Cedar Island Road would be under significant inudation of up to 3 feet. Homes along Cedar Island Road, between Bogie Acres Road and Ditch Path Road could see up to 2 feet inundation.
Minor flooding will begin in the lower lying areas of the Cedar Island Ferry Terminal parking lot. Water could begin to encroach on Cedar Island Road from Atlantic to the Cedar Island Ferry Terminal with some areas approaching 1 foot of inundation from Lola Road to Ditch Path Road.
Very low lying areas in Cedar Island adjacent to the Pamlico Sound, North Bay, Cedar Island Bay and other tributaries will see minor flooding.
