What Floods at Each Level

Major flooding occurs, with flood protection levees being overtopped. The area between Spring Street and the river is flooded, as well as homes and businesses south of East Main Street and West of Staunton Street on the east bank of the Great Miami. Homes and businesses along Rush Creek in Springcreek Township incur major backwater flooding.

Water is very close to over topping flood protection levees. Water approaches homes along Riverside Drive in North Piqua. Route 25A north of the river is flooded, with several feet of water flooding homes and structures along Piqua Lockington Road and North Dixie Drive, with both roads flooded. The wastewater treatment plant is flooded, as well as stretches of Bridge Street and South Main street, with mobile homes and businesses flooded by several feet of water.

Similar significant flooding occurs along the road and in structures along Piqua Lockington Road and North Dixie Srive.
